Operations Intern (Paid)

TastingTable.com, the daily email devoted to the best of food and drink culture, has an opening for a paid Operations Intern. If you have a strong interest in the digital publishing industry, a passionate love of food, a hunger to succeed in a start-up environment, we want to hear from you. This paid internship is 5 days per week, from 9:30AM - 5:30PM daily for six weeks. Talented, hard-working interns may be offered a permanent position at the conclusion of the internship.

Responsibilities:

The operations intern will perform a variety of duties across our Group Operations department, including essential day-to-day responsibilities related to our advertising campaign management function:

Acquiring advertising creative collateral from advertising partners for paid campaigns

Creating email previews for clients

Generating ad campaign reporting

Invoicing and collecting payment from advertisers

Assisting with general administrative duties such as handling the telephone, copies and collating and other office management tasks

Other responsibilities as required to maintain the general health of our start-up

Skills/Requirements:

College degree required

Strong attention to detail, verging on OCD-like tendencies to re-check your work three times before breathing

Accurate and thorough

Able to prioritize without becoming overwhelmed

Good at trouble-shooting, researching, and needling your way to a solution without tears

Great communication/interpersonal skills--written and verbal

Fun, out-going, good-humored and able to work with a variety of personalities (who may not be as fun, out-going, good-humored as you are)

Great with computers (Mac experience preferred), including word processing (Google Docs and/or Word), spreadsheets (Google Docs and/or Excel), and general internet savvy

Insanely organized

Ability to multi-task

Fast learner

Curious / interesting / interested in the world of online publishing
